SILK WOVEN WITH ART

Each piece is conceived with attention to proportion, material, and detail. Designed beyond seasons. Objects to be lived with, kept, and passed on.

The Art of Como Silk

The silk tradition of Como developed over centuries at the crossroads of European trade. From the late Middle Ages onward, the region became known for weaving, dyeing, and printing, a practice refined over generations.

Under the Duchy of Milan, textile production expanded, allowing knowledge and skill to develop locally. By the early modern period, Como was recognized for the precision and quality of its textiles. Over time, this evolved into highly refined silk printing, in collaboration with artists and luxury houses across Europe.

Cosimo sul Lago continues this tradition, pairing hand-drawn, painterly designs with the centuries-old craftsmanship of Como's artisans.
